Computer Modelling
Shock and Vibration Technologies can provide reports for the natural frequency of the mounted system using speciality modelling programmes. Reports for linear and non-linear shock response, container flat/edge/corner drop and rail shunt can also be generated. SVT has the ability to generate computer models to simulate the following MIL standards:
- MIL-STD-901D / E medium hammer
- MIL-STD-901D /E lightweight hammer
- MIL-STD-901 basin test
- MIL-STD-810D /E /F, MIL-STD-07/55
- MIL-STD-167
- Admiralty rack shock machine
- BV 043 Area I, II, III
- BV 044
- DEC STAN 0035
- Any real-time input

EDAK Aluminium Case

SVT has been working closely with the Swiss transit case manufacturer EDAK to bring high-quality aluminium 19in rack transit cases to Australia. The EDAK transit case has proven itself over the last decade of service with the Australian Armed Forces to be tough, resilient and able to protect its contents in even the harshest environments. EDAK transit cases are currently in use with many different squadrons, corps, and units across all branches of the defence forces. The cases feature strong but lightweight aluminium construction, enabling them to achieve an IP65 waterproof rating. They have excellent solutions for heat management (including MIL-SPEC air-conditioners). Unlike plastic cases Edak's aluminium cases provide EMI shielding, making them a good choice to protect communications gear.
